![]() ![]() Not sure if serious or just a batty troll post.Īt OP. There is no optimal setting that 100% of viewers would agree with. ![]() Not knocking the guys hustle or anyone who makes a living by (lol) calibrating "high end" televisions, but I think it's pointless. How pissed off would you be if you paid someone to (lol) calibrate your tv if you hate the way it looks after?ĭon't waste your money. Then again, I have 20/10 vision and notice any little thing (such as a dead pixel or words and letters that have pixelation around it due to the fake sharpness)ĪV forums, the Internet, (both optional) patience and your eyes is all you need. All that post processing shit is pointless and just adds pixelation. And especially remove anything that "enhances" edges. Red is sometimes the hardest color to perfect. Just make sure black looks black (not color washing) and your whites are pure white (not light grey). There are also color pallets you can view on screen and adjust to your liking. I always turn sharpness completely off, disable all that post processing crap, color temp on normal, hdmi black level off. I have eyes, and calibrating a television isn't complicated. ![]() I'm not paying someone to calibrate my tv to his liking. ![]()
